This charming restaurant expertly showcases the rich flavors of the Venetian coast, offering diners an exquisite journey into the world of fresh fish and shellfish, masterfully prepared with passion and finesse.
The menu at Nero di Seppia features a tempting array of seafood specialties that delight the senses. Signature dishes such as the linguine with langustine and tomatoes captivate with their balanced flavors, while the renowned mussels soup—which upon first glance might seem modestly described—reveals itself as a lavish, aromatic pan brimming with a medley of fresh seafood, bursting with the ocean’s essence. Grilled fish promises a perfectly smoky char that melts effortlessly with each bite, and don’t miss their tiramisu, which has secured its reputation as an indulgent, luscious finale to any meal.
The dining atmosphere is warm and inviting, exuding an understated elegance that makes every visit feel special. Whether it's a casual dinner or a celebratory occasion, the attentive yet unobtrusive service complements the culinary experience, as many guests have noted the friendly, welcoming staff who elevate each meal with their genuine care. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between relaxed and refined, ideal for savoring the delicate textures and vibrant flavors of expertly crafted seafood dishes.
Feedback from passionate diners further underscores the restaurant’s exceptional standing in Jesolo. From Fernanda’s admiration, calling it the best restaurant encountered during a four-day trip, to Juraj’s praise of the flawless preparation and impeccable presentation, the consensus is clear: Nero di Seppia is a must-visit for seafood aficionados. Grace’s discovery of the “mixed seafood stew” poignantly illustrates the restaurant’s treasures waiting to be uncovered beyond the printed menu, while Anush’s repeated visits during an eight-day stay reflect a dining experience that consistently surpasses expectations.
While some guests, like Laura, note the slightly smaller wine portions and a touch of saltiness in certain dishes, these nuances do little to overshadow the quality and skill evident in every plate. The rich, fresh ingredients, coupled with the passion behind the kitchen’s creations, create a culinary impression that lingers long after the last bite.
For visitors seeking an authentic taste of Jesolo’s maritime cuisine, Ristorante Nero di Seppia delivers a captivating experience that tantalizes the palate and warms the heart. It is the kind of place where the freshness of the sea meets skilled craftsmanship, and where every meal feels like a celebration of Italy's coastal heritage.
Reservations are highly recommended to secure a spot in this beloved local gem, ensuring you don’t miss the chance to indulge in some of the finest seafood Jesolo has to offer.

The food was nice, although both the linguine with clams we ordered were a bit on the salty side, but nothing too bad. The linguine with langustine and tomatoes was very nice. We ordered two glasses of white wine but I was disappointed by the quantity of wine that they poured. When I questioned the quantity we were given, they told us they only give 100 ml. Normally in Italy the portions are more generous than this but even if we were to go by the book, a standard small size for wine is 125 ml. They should clearly state this in the wine menu, so that one knows. Anyway we were then given a bit of a top up afterwards. Nice, elegant vibe inside the restaurant.

I always eat here whenever I’m at Jesolo and today before eating here, I looked at recent reviews and saw a photo of what looked like a mixed seafood stew that I haven’t seen in the menu before. Went there and showed the photo, and apparently in the menu it only says mussels soup, that’s why I did not see it before. The description doesn’t do the dish justice because it’s a big pan of mixed seafood soup, we’re talking mussels, clams, shrimp, squid, cod and langoustine. It’s really good and well worth the price because it’s very generous. The owner and waiters are all very nice. Gave me a small appetizer to try on the house, as well as a free shot of limoncello at the end of the meal. Will come back again here for sure! Update: went back again the next evening and I wanted to have tuna but with sautéed vegetables instead of the salad that accompanies the dish. They were nice enough to accommodate my request. Also had their tiramisu, and it is one of the bests I’ve had. Seriously it’s a must order!

The Loveliest Restaurant in Jesolo We were quite disappointed with Jesolo overall—full of shops selling cheap, tacky toys, trinkets, and clothes, with very average food and no nice cafes in sight. Then we found this restaurant, and our hearts truly leapt! From the service, to the ambiance, to the food itself, everything was excellent and well-done. It was perhaps the only bright moment of an otherwise not-so-pleasant holiday. Thank you again for being there, for cooking the way you do, and most importantly, for engaging with your guests and making them feel welcome. You were the best!
